What This Role Will Do
- Represent Live Nation and Leader Bank Pavilion to all venue visitors, including business partners and artists, in a professional way
- Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order, and to protect the venue property
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other people to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
- Responsible for maintaining a fun, friendly, and safe environment throughout the venue; uphold venue policies and escalate concerns to appropriate members of the management team in a timely manner
- Operate walkthrough metal detecting devices and hand wands to screen individuals and check bags, preventing passage of prohibited articles into the venue
- Greet guests, answer guest questions, assist guests with navigating the venue
- Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly implement various training methods and standard operating procedures
- Warn people of code of conduct infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises in a professional and courteous manner
- All non-union staff working to the end of a concert will be required to help in the post-concert venue clean-up process (commonly referred to as the Post-Show Pick)
- Other duties as assigned
What This Person Will Bring
- Ages 18 and up
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check and in some cases motor vehicle background checks
- Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
- A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
- Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and working on your feet
- Some, but not all, positions must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
- Require nights, weekends, and potentially holiday work (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day) in all types of weather
- Positions for all applicants will be assigned based on training, availability, skills, previous experience and needs for that evening’s show
- Tolerance of loud noises
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required
- Preferred Security/Law Enforcement experience
- Guard Card a plus
- Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures
- Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player with ability to collaborate and establish strong working relationships with internal and external partners
- Passion or interests in music, technology and media
