Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all event security operations across the Coliseum.
- Lead pre-event planning and security briefings with staff, vendors, and/or public safety partners.
- Oversee guest screening procedures and access control at all entry points.
- Monitor crowds and ensure proper flow, especially during high-attendance events.
- Respond to and manage incidents, altercations, or medical emergencies with professionalism and composure.
- Protect event participants, livestock, and property by maintaining a strong security presence in and around the arena.
- Maintain detailed logs and incident reports for management and authorities as needed.
- Carry out routine inspections to identify potential safety hazards or security concerns.
- Train, mentor, and schedule usher personnel to meet event-specific needs.
- Serve as a liaison between local Law Enforcement and Fire Department to ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration for all joint initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Cowtown Coliseum, ASM Global/Legends policies, Texas state regulations, and public safety standards.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or lead role.
- Working knowledge of crowd control, access management, and emergency response protocols.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with large crowds and livestock.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Texas security license (Level II or III) preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Walking and standing occurs 90% of the time.
- Talking, hearing, walking, running, and vision activities occur continuously.
