Security Installation Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial security and low-voltage systems.
• Install and service fire alarm systems, intrusion detection systems, CCTV/video surveillance systems, access control systems, and intercom systems.
• Conduct system testing, inspections, signal verification, and functionality checks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Complete service reports, installation documentation, and timekeeping records accurately and on time.
• Cookordinate with project managers and team members to ensure efficient project execution and completion.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and national codes and company safety standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Loyal Source professionally.

Required Qualifications

• A high school diploma, GED, or vocational/technical training.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in low-voltage, security, fire alarm.
• Strong background in intrusion is required.
• Basic networking knowledge for IP camera systems.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work above ceilings, in attics, crawl spaces, and on elevated platforms as required.
• Lift, carry, and move equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to distinguish colors and utilize close, distance, and peripheral vision while performing installations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional on-call responsibilities and travel as needed.
