Security Installation Technician
Position Overview
The technician will install, service, and troubleshoot a variety of low-voltage security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and fire alarm equipment. Most work will be in the greater Austin area, with occasional travel to San Antonio.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in security system installation within a commercial setting
- Strong knowledge of:
- Access control systems
- CCTV/video surveillance
- Fire alarm systems
- Must have Texas Alarm License
- Must have the ability to program, install, and troubleshoot
- PREFERRED MANUFACTURER EXPERIENCE:
- Genetec
- Bosch
- EST Softwarehouse
- Lenel
- Axis
- Must be reliable, professional, and able to work in the field with minimal supervision
