Security Guard - Weekends - Overnights

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Appleton, WI, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to site needs with integrity. This weekend overnight role offers flexibility through Allied Universal's Claim a Shift platform for additional earning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, including production areas, access points, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized persons, unusual conditions, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations that help deter theft, trespassing, and other security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (qualified applicants with criminal histories considered consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.48 per hour.

• Saturday: 12:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 AM – 12:00 PM
