About the Role

Admiral Security Services, established in 1976, is a leading security company servicing hundreds of locations nationally. We are seeking a professional security officer to join our team, offering great pay, health insurance, life insurance, 401(k), and paid vacation.

Responsibilities

• Control gate access for residents and visitors
• Learn and adhere to gate operation procedures and site access protocols
• Perform access control for guests, tenants, and vendors
• Enforce client and company policies and procedures
• Observe and report security and safety hazards
• Conduct routine foot patrols in and around the building
• Report pertinent issues and incidents to operations manager, client, and Admiral/ADM Department Managers
• Interact with clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the general public
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Possess exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to multitask
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office products
• Able to operate and maintain site-specific security programs
• At least one year of verifiable work experience (military, concierge, or AA/BA in a related field may be considered)

Qualifications

• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to work inside and outside in varying temperatures
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk, bend, and lift
• Comfortable sitting in front of a computer for prolonged periods
