Security Guard - Weekend Overnights

About the role

Apart from providing security services at commercial real estate locations, this position also involves responding to incidents and conducting patrols. Allied Universal offers flexible scheduling options through their Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help support authorized entry, visitor management expectations, and overall property protocols.
• Complete routine reports and document incidents, observations, and/or security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and site expectations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
