About the role

As a Security Guard Warehouse Access Control in Holbrook, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
