Security Officer Warehouse Access Control

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Congduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by observing for hazards, securing restricted areas when directed, and assisting with alarms, evacuations, and other security-related responses based on site procedures.

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be willing to undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
