Security Officer Warehouse Access Control

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location in Doraville, GA, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. Your visible presence, clear communication, and customer service will help deter incidents while supporting daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and delivery appointments, and document the entry and exit of authorized personnel, vehicles, and shipments.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and promptly communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records related to visitor access, vehicle traffic, incidents, and security-related observations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$15.42 / hour

Schedule

• Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
