As a Part‑Time Security Officer in Lancaster, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, responding to security‑related concerns, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and designated access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security‑related activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet for email communication and related tasks.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.

$18.52 per hour

Schedule

Part‑time schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
