Security Guard Unarmed Alarm Response Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Alarm Response Patrol Security Guard in Florence, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech, Media, and Telecom. This part-time position offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, loading zones, and surrounding perimeters to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated access points; verify credentials and direct authorized visitors, vendors, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports on incidents, patrol observations, visitor activity, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.74 per hour.

• Monday: 01:15 PM - 09:15 PM
• Tuesday: 01:15 PM - 09:15 PM
• Sunday: 01:15 PM - 09:15 PM
