About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Orovada, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. In this position you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security‑related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed, and documenting visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and communicate observed maintenance, operational, and security‑related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements (required for driving positions).
• Guard card or license preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation and drug screen as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and local regulations.

Daytime shifts: Monday, Saturday, Sunday – 06:00 PM to 06:00 AM
