Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol

About the Role

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for visitors, staff, and the public. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor entry procedures in accordance with site policies, documenting relevant observations and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.

• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).

Pay

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Schedule

Full Time, Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
