Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier automotive location in Fontana, CA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and guests. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive facility by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of parking areas, vehicle storage areas, service and delivery locations, building interiors, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle, visitor, and employee traffic; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Pay

$19.00 / hour

Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time
• Day shift: Monday–Friday, 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
