What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, and perimeter locations, noting and reporting potential hazards, unauthorized activity, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Support facility operations by communicating with site personnel during routine activities, shift changes, and/or emergency situations while following Allied Universal and site guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
