As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, document security-related activity using technology, and deliver service with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour
Schedule: Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sunday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
