As a Security Officer in Davenport, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech, Media, and Telecom. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, provide exceptional customer service, and report security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, loading areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and facility entry and exit procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to patrols, incidents, access concerns, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass an extensive background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• Candidates must have open availability.
• Prior 1+ years of security experience, military, correctional officer, or law enforcement experience is highly preferred.
