What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and employees by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with location protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gates, checkpoints, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Report unusual activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent post presence and attention to assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
