Security Monitor

About the role

The Security Monitor is responsible for observing and reporting security and emergency situations in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The role involves minimal intervention but requires standing, walking, and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report security and emergency situations
• Stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Escorting uncleared personnel
• Able to stand for 8-12 hours per day
• Safely navigate an active construction site with debris and trip hazards
• Climb 5 flights of stairs multiple times within an 8–12-hour work shift
• Lift up to 25 pounds / 10 Kilograms
• Makes logical, competent, and safe decisions on a construction site

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Government issued clearance at time of application
• Able to stand, walk for long periods, climb stairs, and lift heavy equipment
• Exceptional observation skills
• Strong conflict resolution skills
• Clear communication under pressure

Compensation

$22.37 per hour.
