Job Schedule

• Day: Thur 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM
• Day: Sat 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a shelter location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and note unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence, assist with de-escalation when appropriate, and follow post orders for security-related and customer service responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
