About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related response protocols appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as required, and document security-related incidents, patrol findings, and daily activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Support emergency response activities by communicating with site personnel, following post instructions, and helping to direct people during evacuations, shelter-in-place events, and other location-specific incidents.
Requirements
- A state, county, and/or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
