Security Guard Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to verify authorized entry and/or direct individuals to the appropriate location.
• Support daily operations by preparing reports, communicating with site contacts and/or public personnel, and following post orders related to assigned duties.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

DayTime, Thur 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Fri 06:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sat 06:00 PM - 06:30 AM
