Job Description
As a Security Guard Patrol in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will be part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, works together, and leads with integrity every day.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for people, vehicles, and/or deliveries in support of location access procedures and established post orders.
- Support incident reporting and routine observations related to equipment, gates, fencing, and/or restricted areas within a manufacturing and industrial location.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
