Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, roadways, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicles, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site protocols for controlled government property.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership by preparing incident reports, maintaining post records, and communicating relevant updates during shift activity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 5 years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Schedule

Job Schedule DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
