Security Guard Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Guard Patrol Driver in Lumberton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. This is an armed and driving post where you will respond with integrity, work as part of a team, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, armed post orders, and/or emergency response activities within a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, controlled areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions needing attention.
• Monitor access points and movement throughout the location, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, patrol findings, and incident details in clear reports, and communicate with site leadership and/or public sector personnel regarding security-related matters.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
