Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Residential Patrol Officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol a residential community, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

• DayTime: Mon 07:00 PM - 05:30 AM
• Tue 07:00 PM - 05:30 AM
• Sat 07:00 PM - 05:30 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM - 05:30 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access to the location and observe for unusual activity, unauthorized persons, and/or property concerns to help support community rules and expectations.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and/or noteworthy conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
