As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and communications location as an unarmed patrol officer. In this driving post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

• Daytime: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain awareness of site activity, reporting maintenance or access concerns, and following post orders during routine and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
