About the role

As a Security Guard Patrol in Norwich, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a pharmaceutical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience operating alarm panels is preferred.

Pay

$19.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Monday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
