About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a logistics and distribution location in Millington, TN, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and maintain required logs and incident documentation.
• Observe loading and distribution operations for unusual activity and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
