As a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Monitoring in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Monitor access points, observe customer and associate activity, and assist with maintaining an orderly retail environment while helping to deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
