Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, directing guests according to site procedures, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately in required reports and logs.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid Class B driver’s license with a passenger endorsement.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
