What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit processes for personnel and authorized guests.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and required information to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic technology environment.
Minimum Requirements
- At least six months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Licensing Requirements
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
