Security Guard Part Time DOD

About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Security Clearance Patrol in Portsmouth, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
