Security Guard Part Time Credential Verification Patrol

About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing guests to appropriate locations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns through accurate reports and communication with Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.

$19.00 / Hour

- Monday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
