About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures to help deter unauthorized access and support facility operations.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, dock areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.29 / hour

• Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
