About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Credential Verification in Mount Juliet, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and help maintain an organized, secure environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support security-related operations through teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor, driver, and contractor logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the facility perimeter, parking areas, and access points, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities through accurate reports and required shift records.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
