Security Guard Mobile Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Guard Mobile Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the building, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and lobby areas, verify visitor entry as directed by site procedures, and support orderly access for employees, vendors, and/or guests.
• Communicate with site contacts, local authorities, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Security-related experience.
• Driver’s license.
• Access control and badge experience.
