Other Job Functions
- Patrols the Campus on foot, mobile, or monitors surveillance from a fixed stationary post.
- Maintains detailed and accurate reports on each shift.
- Maintains dependable vigilance.
- Responds to internal and external alarms following all required procedures.
- Reports all security concerns as observed and any failures of security systems (Access/ Intrusion/ Video systems).
- Displays courtesy, tact, and effectiveness in dealing with others, provides outstanding customer service to everyone.

Education and Experience
- US Citizenship required.
- 1 - 3 years prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.
- Minimum High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of and ability to utilize MS Office product suite (email, word, excel).
- Valid Driver's license.
- Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
- Security experience in government facilities or highly secure facilities (preferred).
Work Environment / Physical Requirements

- Operates in high-security environment where NISPOM compliance is critical to protecting personnel, assets, and classified information.
- Physical Demands
- Perform work utilizing a computer for extended periods of time.
- Sit for extended periods of time without being able to leave the work area.
- Stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Climb stairs while performing work.
- Ability to handle demanding situations, including potentially dealing with physical confrontations.
