Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Security Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial office property.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office buildings, parking areas, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior and/or maintenance concerns, and document observations according to site procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with property management, tenants, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hour

• Tuesday: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Wednesday: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Thursday: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Friday: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Saturday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
