About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and adherence to site entry requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.

$26.79 / Hour

- Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
