What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
  • Complete accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate security-related observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
