As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observer in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report observed hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Support a professional and orderly environment by providing directions, assisting with public-facing inquiries, and following established protocols for government operations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $16.38 / Hour

• Monday: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Tuesday: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thursday: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
