About the role

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports in accordance with site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations, incidents, and/or operational needs.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour
Schedule: Day Time, Monday 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM, Thursday 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM, Friday 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM, Saturday 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM, Sunday 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM
