Security Guard - Full Time Unarmed Patrol Hazard Reporting

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate school personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures, assisting with access control and directing visitors appropriately.
• Document incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns accurately, and communicate relevant information to school leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Guard card or license (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.87 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time, daytime shift: Monday‑Friday, 7:15 AM – 3:15 PM.
