Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Hazard Reporting

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Charlotte, NC at an Amazon Warehouse. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in required reports.
• Maintain professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
