About the role

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol reporting in Cheyney, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, academic spaces, residence areas, parking locations, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
