About the role

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Awareness in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity to help deter unauthorized entry, disruptive behavior, and/or potential hazards.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $23.39 / Hour

Schedule

DayTime: Mon 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM, Wed 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM, Thur 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM, Fri 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM, Sat 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
