Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Awareness

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location in Honolulu, HI. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist guests and staff, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hotel and resort grounds, including guest areas, entrances, parking locations, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe guest and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$27.33 per hour.
