As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Awareness in Whitsett, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Using computer or tablet tools as needed, you will communicate clearly with visitors and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, directing guests and reporting irregular conditions.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.89 per hour

Schedule

Full-time overnight shift: Monday through Thursday and Sunday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM
